Who am I? I’m a Kenyon College alum and NYC resident with a passion for strategy, a knack for lifestyle writing, and a little too much knowledge about Gen Z culture.

What do I do? I currently work as an Audience Development Strategist for Departures Magazine, where I specialize in newsletter strategy, SEO strategy, data and insights, and much more. I’ve learned so much at Departures — how to communicate big ideas in a clear way, how to blend editorial and data-driven interests, and how to engage many types of audiences.

What else do I do? I’m also a freelance writer! My work covers everything from media to masturbation to mental health, and I care deeply about empowering the female experience and speaking openly about topics affecting young women today.

When I’m not explaining SEO to my parents, you can find me roaming the frozen aisle at Trader Joe’s or workshopping my friends’ dating profiles.

I Tried Rejection Therapy Because TikTok Told Me To ✰ Elite Daily, February 2023

“In high school, I was the queen of making bold — and questionable — decisions. My favorite pastime was DMing minor celebrities on Instagram (think The Voice contestants who didn’t make it past the battle rounds). And anytime I felt the least bit horny, I messaged ‘sext me, b*tch’ to my most recent Tinder match. It was easy to feel fearless at 18, a time before I was introduced to loss, heartbreak, and the grief that comes with growing up.”

Sex Was Just Starting To Feel Normal Again — But Then We Lost Roe ✰ Elite Daily, July 2022

“We landed on a threesome video that had a little something for all of us, and we sat eagerly, making commentary, laughing at cringeworthy moments, and pointing out positions we wanted to try. The next day, our guy friends asked what we’d been up to. In a panic, we said that we were making a ‘naked music video.’ Because, for some reason, that seemed less embarrassing. As young women, it felt more acceptable to sexualize ourselves than admit we were being sexual for ourselves.”

I Watched Porn With My Friends And It Changed Our Lives For the Better ✰ Elite Daily, December 2021

This TikToker Taught Me How to Get On Top During Sex ✰ Elite Daily, October 2023

“Nice to meet you, I’m a Pillow Princess. You know, the person who lays down comfortably during sex, providing motivational moans while the other person breaks a sweat actually putting in the work. I always told myself I was a Pillow Princess because I liked being submissive (and TBH, lazy). But recently, my boyfriend suggested we switch up our positions and give me some air time in the driver’s seat. I got up there, completely froze up, and was faced with the truth: I’m just not confident being on top.”

I Tried TikTok’s Viral “Sex Chocolate” With My Boyfriend ✰ Elite Daily, April 2023

“As if it knows me too well, my TikTok For You page has been flooded with videos of couples reviewing Tabs Chocolate, a self-proclaimed “pleasure-boosting” dark chocolate bar meant to make intercourse more interesting by stimulating blood flow and increasing your sex drive. But does it actually work? My boyfriend and I were generous enough to give the pricey chocolate ($30 for a box of three pieces) a try, so you can decide whether you want to add to cart.”
